Forrester Report: Customers Concerned By Data Privacy Say 91% of Data Management Professionals

Forrester Report, Data Privacy, Data Management Professionals, Deloitte,

An interesting study by Forester has thrown up surprising figures. The survey of director-level or higher executives responsible for customer data management decisions was conducted by Forrester for Deloitte to evaluate how companies are managing their customer experience data. More than 60% of data executives are confident of the data storage facilities of their company. However, data privacy seems to rank very high in customer concerned, in an apparent dichotomy.

The study found that inadequate data management was a central theme, with less than 6% of survey respondents scoring a “4” or higher on a 1 to 5 scale measuring data management maturity.
